The goals of the Sierra Rock Club are to host activities and promote interest and education in mineralogy, geology, paleontology and related subjects.
Our Membership process is as simple as printing our membership application and bringing it to one of our General Meetings that are held on the third Tuesday of every month, except July, August and September when the club is on hiatus. Please visit our calendar page for up-to-date meetings, field trips, etc.
Potential members must attend one General Meeting and one field trip at which The Board will vote to accept memberships at the following Business Meeting. Membership fees will be accepted upon receipt of welcome packet.

Any person who is interested in the objectives of the Sierra Pelona Rock Club and is willing to subscribe to its By-Laws may become an active member by payment of dues and initiation and approval by the Board. The initiation fee of $2.00, the $20.00 yearly dues and the recommendations by two active members of the rock club shall accompany this application for regular membership. Ages eight (8) through eighteen (18) shall pay yearly dues of $2.00 and an initiation fee of $1.00.
