COME AND MEET US AT A SIERRA PELONA ROCK CLUB MEETING
  • If you enjoy the great outdoors, and you like to explore the
stuff our earth is made of,  you will enjoy the Sierra Pelona
Rock Club's Field Trips .  We encourage all members to go
with us on field trips and have fun at the same time.

  • If you enjoy presentations about rocks, gems, minerals,
lapidary, fossils and geology, you will enjoy our Club.

  • There is a relaxed atmosphere at our meetings where
families, and rockhounds can socialize and see some of
earth's treasures displayed at every meeting.

  • We encourage all members to display materials at our
    meetings.

  • If you want to learn how to identify and collect rocks and
minerals, see demonstrations on equipment in a learning
environment and share with others, you will enjoy the Sierra
    Pelona Rock Club.

We have very simple membership requirements that are designed
to encourage participation in the Sierra Pelona Rock Club, and to
increase knowledge and interest in our objectives.
