WELL, BOO BOO, if you missed the PICKANICK, you missed a good time, and you missed our last meeting until September, 2010. Yeah, we know you've been busy (probably out collecting rocks and minerals), so we will be expecting you at our general meeting on September 21st to show us what you've collected during this summer. TUESDAY, SEPTEMBER 21, 2010 - 7:30 PM - TOPIC IS "SHOW & TELL" Every year, our September meeting features Show & Tell; that is, our members and guests bring to the meeting specimens of rocks and minerals collected during the summer, or any other time for that matter. In recent years, we have also been bringing in things we have acquired (related to rockhounding) such as metal detectors, gold panning equipment, lapidary, and unusual items, and we have seen some very pretty stuff, very unusual stuff, and very latest stuff. This is ALWAYS a very interesting meeting. The people who bring in stuff display it, and tell us about it, and everyone learns something. Light refreshments are served GUESTS: Are you curious about our Club? Come to the meeting and enjoy a pleasant, educational meeting. You are welcome, and We DON'T bite.
